Ingredients

  • 16 oz green beans trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 tsp salt and pepper
  • ½ tbsp paprike
  • ½ tbsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 6 oz mushrooms sliced thin
  • 2 garlic cloves diced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh parmesan

Instructions

Steam:

Saute:

  • Drain the water and return the heat to medium. Add olive oil to the pan and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir and let cook for 15-20 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and cook for an additional 5 minutes and stir. Add the garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add a splash of lemon juice and stir until combined.

Serve:

  • Garnish with freshly grated parmesan cheese and serve warm. Enjoy!
