Snowball Cookies Without Nuts

Snowball Cookies Without Nuts are crumbly, buttery Christmas cookies coated in layers upon layers of powdered sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
  • Add flour and salt and thoroughly mix. If using, add in chocolate chips and mix.
  • Shape the dough into small balls, about 1 tbsp of dough each. Coat in powdered sugar and place on a prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and coat in additional powdered sugar. Repeat again once cooled if desired.
