How To: Make a Strawberry Kiwi Slush

You’ll be loving life sitting poolside with a couple of these slushies!

As long as you have a good processor or blender and some fresh fruit, you can make this recipe work.

Grab some fresh strawberries and kiwi and throw them in the food processor.

For liquid, I’ve found that lime juice and seltzer provide a great combo that isn’t overpowering in flavor.

Lime juice can be substituted for another citrus, such as lemon juice, grapefruit juice, or blood orange juice, but note if the juice is too strong it may overpower the fruit flavors.

Any subtle carbonated beverage can be swapped for the seltzer; sparkling water, club soda, or even sprite.

Don’t forget to add A LOT of ice, and feel free to add more once you start blending. Pulse until smooth.

Serve right away and garnish with any leftover fruit slices.

  3. Yum, this sounds and looks so nice and refreshing. Definitely one to try on hot days, but I’m not much of a fan of kiwi. Any substitutes?
    Thanks for sharing.

What a terrific recipe! My son loves the flavors of strawberry and kiwi, too, so this is a refreshing drink we can both enjoy!
